23 April; Chillin' in London

Today was a day we had planned to go to M&M world at first, but we did that already. And we wanted to go to the London Zoo, but that was too expensive after all (living in London is really expensive after all...). So what did we do today? To be fair, nothing special. But we had fun and had some nice experiences!

So once we were all ready to move out (at 13.00, since some went to sleep at 7.00 because they were having fun), our group headed out to the Candem Town Market. It was like really busy, but it was fun to walk over. We've visited a Comic store, and I swear I have never seen so many comics in one place. It was the ultimate place for geeks (though there were no manga, or I would have still been there now). I bought some souvenirs for a few people, but I'm still not done!

After the Candem Market, we headed towards Regent Park. I know I said I visited that before, but the truth is I kind of mistook that park for Regent Park... We just crashed down on one of the gigantic fields there, enjoyed the sun and ate our freshly bought bread/treats/pastries. It was a nice afternoon filled with deep conversations and opinion sharing. Not exactly what you'd expect from an afternoon of just chilling, but hey - sometimes things just happen!

We headed back home around 6:30, and once we were home we had that ever occurring discussion: what/where to eat? Since we were with just 4 now, that discussion was solved rather quick. We agreed on eating Japanese food. We just walked down town, and encountered this restaurant "Bento Ramen". We all ordered, and it was so much that nobody was able to finish their plates. Except for me of course (but then again, I didn't order any side orders, while the others did). I had something with fried chicken and BBQ beef, and jolly, it was the most delicious thing I ever ate!

Once we headed home, I decided that I should make myself useful. There was still a monsterous amount of dishes left to wash, so I just did that. Because hey, I sleep in the Kitchen/Living Room and I can't stand it that there were dirty plates and glasses everywhere. Anyway, that was done. And around 23.30 I just kicked out everyone in the living room, because I really wanted (and needed... more needed than wanted) to sleep in time. And I have just woken up, so I guess I needed that!

Anyway, today is going to be our last day in London, and I'm going to visit Foyles - a gigantic bookstore near to Charing Cross Road. I am going there because it was recommended to me by my best friend (and he wants some books. Coincidence? I think not). Once I'm done there, I still need to buy some more souvenirs... But honestly, I have no idea what to buy for those people. Well, I'm going to have breakfast now (I doubt my classmates will be up anytime soon), and head out the door!

Take care today, and don't forget that it is almost weekend!

Love,

Gabs
