21 April; NHM and Piccadilly Circus!

Day three in London, and the weather is still as perfect as can be. I know this update is pretty early, a lot earlier than you guys are used to, but hey. That doesn't mean today was boring or anything. In fact, it was everything BUT boring.


As the title of my post says, we visited the Natural History Museum today. But before that we all had a nice breakfast together with the eight of us. One of our group members offered to do the makeup for the girls, and wow I am so not used to this! I have to admit I think it's pretty cool ( and that I am not nearly as skillful as I should be to do this myself). It looks a bit like this;

Anyway, after this we visited the Natural History Museum. One of our group members had already been there, so he stayed outside. We walked around, looked at the exhibits and wandered around. We also met up with the student assistents (who checked if we were all actually in London I guess? I don't know their actual purpose..) and we made a picture together. Unfortunately that photo is on my camera, and I cannot actually get that one right now.

When we were done at the NHM, we walked to the Underground and got to Piccadilly Circus! And oh my oh my, it was the British version of New York (not that I ever visited New York of course)! I saw billboards, a lot of musicians on the street, street performers, a lot of small shops... It was a wonderful experience. And then, the real magic happened... We were walking and walking, and I knew we were going there, but when I actually saw it... M&M's world! I swear to God that I have never ever seen so much chocolate in so many different colours in the same place. Naturally, I got one m&m in every available colour. Proof? Proof.

I was happier with it than I should've been. Now we are back, and two group members are cooking. We're having homemade tortillas! We're going to the pub tonight; an experience that is totally new for me. I barely go out in the evenings, let alone to have a drink. Anyway, I'll try to update this post this evening. I doubt I'll make it though (it kinda depends on when we are finished/when I am done at the pub ;p)!
